The autoubiquitination activity of ZNF364 indicates that it is a novel RING-type E3 ligase. Its effects on cell growth indicate that ZNF364 may be important for the ubiquitin modification of proteins crucial to breast carcinogenesis and growth. Function: Acts as an E2-dependent E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. May be involved in endocytic trafficking. Subunit: Interacts with RAB7A. Subcellular Location: Cytoplasm, cytosol (By similarity).
