Lungkine expression in lung tissue is elevated in response to inflammation, at which time it acts to specifically recruit neutrophils and direct them into the lung airway. Function: Chemotactic for neutrophils. May be involved in lung-specific neutrophil trafficking during normal and inflammatory conditions. Subcellular Location: Secreted.
