TP53调节激酶抗体产品介绍：background: PRPK is a 253 amino acid protein kinase that phosphorylates Ser15 of p53. PRPK phosphorylation of p53 causes increased stabilization and activity of p53. CGI-121 may act as an inhibitor of the PRPK-p53 interaction, thus preventing the phosphorylation of p53. Unphosphorylated p53 is degraded by the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, which may ultimately lead to cell proliferation. PRPK contains a protein kinase domain with a conserved catalytic core. PRPK is localized to the nucleus of the cell and is highly expressed in testis, with lower expression in heart, kidney and spleen. Function: Component of the EKC/KEOPS complex that is required for the formation of a threonylcarbamoyl group on adenosine at position 37 (t6A37) in tRNAs that read codons beginning with adenine. The complex is probably involved in the transfer of the threonylcarbamoyl moiety of threonylcarbamoyl-AMP (TC-AMP) to the N6 group of A37. TP53RK has ATPase activity in the TP53调节激酶抗体context of the EKC/KEOPS complex and likely plays a supporting role to the catalytic subunit OSGEP (By similarity). Atypical protein kinase that phosphorylates 'Ser-15' of p53/TP53 protein and may therefore participate in its activation. Subcellular Location: Nucleus.
